SATA is better than IDE

Thanks for this article on SATA vs IDE. I appreciated actually seeing the differences between the two.

In my opinion SATA is so much better than IDE. I have used both types over the years, and SATA seems so much faster and smoother. I also much prefer the smaller cables that SATA have. It makes it so much easier to attach hard drives to your computer.

I can now easily fit 5 or 6 hard drives in my computer without having to worry about cables over heating. It also makes it so much easier for me to connect my hard drives to the motherboard, since the cables are actually decently small.

My only issue I have had with the SATA cable, is that they tend to be able to fall out of the hard drive easier then a normal IDE cable. However, if your computer doesn't move around much, but just sits in the same position, this shouldn't be too much of an issue.

Anyway, thanks again for the article on SATA vs IDE and in my opinion I prefer the SATA cable.

Cheers
