Adobe Dreamweaver
Adobe Dreamweaver is an amazing program. It can do so many complicated and basic tasks. I have used Adobe Dreamweaver CS3 in basically all my websites and I find it so much better than anything else I have tried.
I do understand HTML and CSS, but the great thing about Dreamweaver is that it writes the code for you.
You have three views, Code, Split and Design. I often use Design view but if I need to check up on the code or correct something, I simply change to the Code view and edit appropriately. It is really great.
To style a website in Dreamweaver is also very easy. I can see what I am doing in the design view and while I am editing it writes CSS styles for you.
You can preview the site in a browser window easily and the file manager allows very easy linking between pages.
There are many more advantages to Adobe Dreamweaver and I can’t list them all here, but Adobe Dreamweaver CS3, or CS4 is one of the best programs on the market and I can’t say how much I would recommend it. I don’t think I could ever go back to hand-coding or to another program after once using this.
If you are a student then you can recieve the Adobe CS4 Web Premium – Student Edition at a great discount.
Although the Adobe Products are expensive, but in my opinion they are all worth it.
